Sometimes It Pays
Yep, Jeff got the monster hookup on Springsteen tickets with sweet VIP seating!
Non profit might not pay very much, but the connections are priceless!
When I Say E, You Say Coli
Yup, Jeff and I had been sick since we got off the plane last week and I mean horrible sick. We went to the doctor together and after talking about our symptoms and tracing where we were and what we ate, the doctor determined we had Ecoli. On top of that, we had colds and I broke out in hives from all the Mylanta I took.
Not a fun week.
We're Home
Back from England! We had a great time visiting Paul, Karen, Ailsa and getting to know our new God Son Angus (Boris), what a lover!
The weather was nice and nippy, a nice change from the heat we have been having in Florida. We had a nice Sunday in Kew Gardens and Monday in Richmond, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in London hitting all of our favorite spots like St. James Park (where we got engaged), Black Lion Pub and Trafalgar Square. Wednesday we saw the musical Billy Elliott and on Thursday Jeff geeked out at a museum to check out the Star Wars exhibit, so I went off to Oxford Street for some shopping.
Friday Paul took us on a tour of Hampton Court. If you want a tour done right, do it with Paul. He is genius and it's nice to spend time with someone who loves to share history with you.
We also got to hang with Ailsa who is growing by the second and Boris who is just the sweetest little man. I just fell in love with him and wanted to sneak him home. To have Jeff as his God Father means the boy will learn a world of cinema and pop culture.
We miss the already. We had such a great time and can't wait to do it all over again!
