Evil Blue Fiber

I'm addicted to the shaker fiber you put in your food. Being a Faust, I was raised in a house where if you didn't make your daily poop, something was wrong. My sister and I are obsessed with making sure we poop.

I like the shaker fiber in the green bottle, however Publix was out last week so I had to buy the shaker fiber in the blue bottle.

Let me tell you, the blue bottle fiber is way more potent then the green bottle. I have been extra farty all week. To make it worse I have had new company people in my office all week and I had my annual OBGyn appointment. During my whole appointment I prayed, "Please God, don't let fart on my doctor."

It's pretty hard to conceal your farts around your colleagues. My sister will let one rip and take no remorse. It's a natural body function. Plus, when she lets out an SBD and her students smell it, she likes to say, "Those who smelt it dealt it!" Shuts the kids right up. I, on the other hand try to be a little more aware, but the blue fiber has been a challenge.

I even cut my recommended dosage in half and it doesn't help. I had to go all day without my fiber yesterday because of a follow up and some procedures with my OBGyn. I was afraid of the worst, but I was also going to the bathroom every twenty minutes to make sure I was okay.

My blue bottle fiber is gone as of this morning, so I can pop open my green bottle fiber and enjoy.

Stay away from the blue fiber!

What Ever Happened To Manners?

You tell me? I am sick to death of the lack of courtesy people have for others these days.

The other night Jeff and I went to Harmoni for a music and wine event. We decided to get a table so we could relax and enjoy the evening until some dude standing next to our table dropped his wine glass and it shattered all over my pants and feet. He just walked away.

Most people have seemed to lost all common courtesy. You are given a gift, you send a thank you note. You need to get around a person, you excuse yourself. You don't agree with a person, then don't challenge them.

I'm not bragging, but I have to say that Jeff is the one person in this world that really is a true example of how politeness should be. He sends thank you notes, he writes letters to his grandmother every week, he opens doors for people, helps out friends and neighbors, respects people regarding their beliefs in anything. When he is in a situation, he sucks it up, makes the best of it and keeps it to himself. I wish I could do that. If Jeff was the dude who broke the wine glass all over the sidewalk, he would have apologized and would have cleaned it up himself, then getting someone to let them know he dropped the glass so they could make sure it was cleaned up the best it could be so no one could get hurt.

It shows because at events, people will come up to me and say what a lovely person he is. Last Sunday in the Orlando Sentinel, he had a whole page profile (3B) done on him for being the voice and face of the science center for the last seven years and the article even said it was because they wanted central Florida to know more about this truly awesome person. I couldn't agree more.

I love him. I love him for being so wonderful to others. I love him for sharing his kindness, even to the people who don't deserve his kindness. He leads by example and makes me want to be a better person.

I try my hardest to be a good person, but I will try harder.

That's The Sound Of The Girl, Working On The Merge

I am just merging away over here. I go in around 7:30, come home around 6:30, eat a South Beach bar for lunch and drink myself to death when I get home. Oh, good times.

I will get back to better blogs soon.
