Stupid Terrorists

Try to F up my vacation, I dare you.

Jeff and I fly out on the 26th for Rome. As of now, according to the FAA, TSA and Homeland Security, no carry on luggage is permitted on international flights. I'm not to bent out of shape, we always pack light, and I never carry around open liquids (they can spill), but between Philly and Rome, I would like to be able to carry little things like my books, hair brush and other kinds of crap with me. I'm hoping that will change in the next 10 days.

Stupid terrorists. Whatever, flying is a privilege, not a right.

George Got New Toys

Not a big deal to some, but to us it means peace, quiet and a happy Larry. I especially love the screaming gorilla and the Bobo you see on the PetSmart commercials.

I forgot, however, that PetSmart does adoptions on Saturdays. I really wanted that Jack Russell and a few dozen cats.

FYI, you MUST boycott China and any goods and services from there as best you can. This week China had a rabies scare, a whole whopping three people were infected. So the solution was that about 50,000 dogs were taken by the government, either from people walking them or straight from their houses, beaten to death with clubs (in front of owners), thrown into backs of trucks and taken away. Or, the Chinese government paid people $.63 per household if they killed their dogs themselves. Now, I understand that some countries don't treat domestic pets or animals as we do in America (some are even eaten), but what civilized country does this????????????
