My Boys
I just walked into Jeff's office and found the photo of George Lucas when he was on petfinder.com. He was all ears back then. I can't believe we've had him for almost a year. I also find it sweet that Jeff saves all these little things. Larry was a dumpster cat, so we don't have any cute adoption photos of him. Just his wheezing to remind us of his early days.
Pet Fair is the weekend of April 8th. George will be going, but Larry will have to stay home. I want to take Larry, but Jeff thinks buying a cat stroller is silly. I agree buying one is silly because Bud could build one 100 x's better. Hahahahahahaha!
The three of them are taking a nap. This means mommy can geek out and watch the History Channel.
I love my boys.
Happy Birthday Jeff
For Jeff's birthday, I surprised him with a trip to New York for the weekend. We went to the Empire State building, had dinner at the Red Eye, putzed around Central Park, made a trip to the Guggenheim and ate lots of pizza. We had a blast and he deserved it.
I called his boss and arranged for him to have that Friday off. That Thursday evening, I had a note all gift wrapped in a box with all the details. He freaked! We took off ay 7:00AM Friday morning and spent all day Friday and Saturday doing whatever he wanted to do and Saturday night we flew home. We stayed at the 414 Inn, a little Bed and Breakfast located in what was Hell's Kitchen, is now known as Clinton. It was full of little basement restaurants and pubs. A cure little neighborhood, I would recommend it to anyone.
So now he's 37. I'm so happy I was able to pull this off. I really wanted to do something special for him. And a special thanks to Chris for being my ear. I had to tell someone or I would burst, and also a big thanks for not telling him.
I wonder what Jeff will do for my 30th in July? Hmmmm.
