Yikes! There Is Nothing Happening!
I really don't have much to say. There really hasn't been anything going on.
Jeff's parents made it up to North Carolina just fine and we'll be joining them in two weeks. Jeff had the Dr. Nelson Ying Science Competition today, so I did several loads of laundry, caulked our bathroom tub, took a nap with Larry and bought a new tea kettle.
Yup, I'm that exciting.
We Taught Two Year Old How To Drink
Jeff and I had dinner with Liz and Andrew and little BeBe. After Jeff finished a few bottles of Harp, BeBe decided to mimic Uncle Jeff by pretending to drink from the empty bottles. She was even two fisting it. We were so proud. She loves her imports in a bottle. This was her thing all night. This kid is pretty bitchin. She'll be in the A group without a doubt (or at least very popular in college).
We booked and paid for our trip to Munich. WooHoo! We are going to drink, drink and drink some more, and then we'll eat, and then we'll drink again. I can't wait to go. We'll do some Oktoberfest'n, Swiss Alp'n and beer garden hoppin until we pass out or run out of money. And yes, I know the Alps are in Switzerland. Thank goodness for trains.
Bud is feeling much better and he and Sharon are heading up to DuShar this week. We'll join them for mothers day and spend a week in the exciting town of Waynesville. If only I could have been there fifteen years ago for the "Festival of Yee". Chris, I saw the pictures. Hahahahahahahaha!
Happy anniversary Tammy and Shawn! We love you two! Have fun at the beach and celebrate. Huhuhuh huh huhuhuh huh huhuh. Hahahahahahaha! Tammy, you'll get that.
That's all for now. Larry is still a precious biter and Honey Bunny is still my hot media pimp.
Remember Me?
Hi! I know it's been forever and a day since my last post , but I'm back.
Things have been nuts the past month. Bud took a turn for the worse with his injuries from falling off the roof. He really is doing better now, it looks like the worst is behind us.
Meg is home from Costa Rica. She had a great time and the pictures she took were beautiful. We were taking care of her cats (who were very bad) while she was gone.
I LOVE my new position and branch. I'm learning lots and feel really good about what I do.
Jeff and I suffered for almost three weeks with that virus that was spreading around. We were nasty sick and even had a husband and wife appointment with our doctor. How sweet! He treated us both with some heavy meds, we're feeling better.
My good friend Percy is teaching me how to speak Chinese. He just moved to Tampa, so I want to hook him up with the St. Pete crew. He's the best.
Speaking of best, my best friend Tammy and I shared a tasty German meal at this little restaurant in DT Sanford called the Willow Tree. Good wine, gooooood sausages. If you ever have any reason to go to Sanford, Florida, check it out.
Not much else to report. Jeff and I are planning a trip to the mountains in May to visit Bud and Sharon, the it's off to Munich in October.
I hope everyone is well and I hope to hear from you soon!
