Whew!
Now that the holidays are over, life can move on.We had a nice New Years with dinner at Harmoni (they did a fixed menu with wine pairing for each course), then to our favorite watering hole, Wally's, then home to watch the ball drop with the babies.
Everyone in the Stanford bunch had a nice holiday. We had Christmas Eve service, then Bud's famous chili. Christmas day Jeff and I slept in, then I made him his Christmas breakfast. We exchanged a few little gifts then spent the rest of the day with his parents where they surprised us with a much needed king size bed!
So now I am planning the new master bedroom. Painting, furniture moving and new wall art will be involved, I can't wait to get this project rolling. Jeff will be knee deep in media obligations for Otronicon this month, so he will be out of the house allowing me to go crazy. I already have the bedding ordered! I'm so excited!
Our 5th wedding anniversary is coming up. We have had the tradition of pizza in bed every year, but we might do something a little different for the 5th. Our anniversary falls on the opening weekend of Otronicon (thanks OSC), so it leaves very little time for anything crazy special. As long as I have Jeff with me, we can have crackers on the street corner, I don't care. I just need him.
That's about it for now.
