I Got Him So Good!
For our anniversary, Jeff and I promised each other no gifts because we got the Springsteen tickets. But, I still wanted to do something special.Every year since our wedding night, we celebrated the date with pizza. It's become our tradition. Jeff wanted to do something a little more special then pizza this year. Being a fan of tradition, i had to be creative.
I called our favorite restaurant, Harmoni. We eat there all the time and we're known pretty well (we even got an email from them when the hadn't seen us because we were on vacation). I asked if there was any way possible if the chef could make us pizza. It's not on the menu, nothing even close because it's not that kind of a place (you can easily drop $200.00 for dinner). They said they will make it work.
We arrived Friday night and it was packed. Jeff was hoping they could seat us, but it was about an hour wait. When we walked in, we were greeted and seated at our usual table they had reserved for us in the wine nook. From there the courses were already planned and served along with a wine chosen. Then, came the entree, a pizza! Jeff was floored (so were some patrons)!. It was very sweet. It was awesome they went out of their way to take care of us. Then dessert, then home where Jeff gave me a beautiful necklace from Tiffany's. Just the blue box made me giddy.
Jeff had to work the whole weekend with Otronicon, so I painted the bedroom and the new bed arrived on Monday. The room looks great, I wish it always looked this good.
So all in all it was a fantastic anniversary (sorry stupid Otronicon had to but in). The best part was just spending time with Jeff. I don't need anything else in the world, well maybe pizza.
